(Game)Harem Builder: Starting the new characters

I'm not sure if I mentioned it before, but I'm planning to add 3 news characters in the next batch. Elsword, Megaman and another unannounced character. I will also continue Manami's story. With that said, I started coding and planning these character's stories this week. I even started another Megaman CG since I already had the idea in mind. (So Megaman already has 2 CGs in the works.) Lan will appear as a side character for Megaman, but Bass (or Forte) will also make an appearance!

New characters means new daily activities. For Elsword, I'm planning to re-use Link's combat style but with a linear dungeon setting with a boss at the end. I'll talk about this some more when I get to it. As for Megaman, I'm creating another combat style which is based on the Battle Network games.

The assets are still in the works and I have some improvments to make, but you can get a good idea of how it will be. On a side note, I also made Megaman's ingame sprite as show above!

I worked a lot on Megaman this week x) (And on Elsword's CG), his underwears are mostly done, only his special contest underwear is left but I'm not sure what I should make yet. Megaman's portraits will be given out alongside Elsword's CG will be given out as part of this month's reward for the highest tier. The rewards will be sent on july 8th at the same time as the mugen stuff.

Finally I've been wondering, should I use the english names for Megaman's characters (Megaman, Lan, Bass) or the japanese names? (Rockman, Netto, Forte). I personally like both so I have a hard time deciding xP.

Another stream this weekend

Since I really liked doing this last week, I'm doing this again this weekend on Saturday, same time as last week. (1 pm EST) I will be working on the other animations from the buyout.

(Mugen) Sora update preview

I was supposed to update DDC this week, but instead I decided to focus on Sora. I added a last move to complete last week's update and made his two animations from the buyout. DDC will still be updated but at a later date.

(Game)Harem Builder: New character and Saturday Livestream

First off, I want to tell you guys for those interested that I will be holding a livestream on Saturday 1 pm EST and I will be making an animation for mugen. You guys can pitch in and suggest things as I go. The stream will be held on Picarto. It's my first time doing this so I hope everything goes well! :D

This week I made some progress towards a few things, including Elsword's CG, the third new character's portrait and this week's new character portrait and CG.

Without further ado, here's our new little guy joining Harem Builder!

Megaman wasn't much of a secret since he appeared in the main screen as one of the shadows, but the last character I'll be revealing in a few weeks isn't part of those! There are still a few things I'd like to improve about Megaman's current portrait, but you can get a good idea of how he will look.

As with most characters, Megaman will have a side character, I'm planning to add Lan (or Netto) but with a little twist.

(Mugen)DDC, Link and Sora updates

I was supposed to only work on Sora this week, but since I was doing some moves I wanted to rework, I thought I might as well start DDC's update along with Sora's. Next week will be the same thing as DDC is pretty much garanteed to win the poll.

DDC and Link:

DDC and Link have received new updates this week, more will be coming next week alongside Sora. New animation for the bound move. This also means that I have to redo all the ones I did before xP. This position is much better to adapt though. I might have to slow down the grab animation so it flows better though.

Next up is a small new update to the Mindcontrol move. Characters can now have an explod at the start of the move to show the character's expression changing.

The update to the piledriver isn't finished yet, but you can see it up above. The last change for this week is for DDC's Time Stopped Masturbation move which will now work with the new bound.

(Game)Harem Builder: Where I go from there

First of all, I want to thank all of those who played Harem Builder, I'm really happy that you guys enjoyed the game so much and were actively reporting bugs and posting your thoughts about the game. Thank you again!

Now that the base game is here, for me, it's time to start working on the next parts of the game. What I'd like to focus on next will be new characters but also Ralkyx, the Cyber City. To start a new town I need new characters; I'm planning to add two characters so far and Haseo isn't part of them. I'm keeping this guy for later. The first new character will most likely be unveiled in next week's update and the other will be revealed later. I already started working on both of those character's portraits!

My goal will not only be to add Ralkyx, but also bring in a few characters even if they're not complete so I can have a wider set of character people can enjoy. This also allows me to work on different characters and not focus on a single one. Elsword will also be making his debut in Harem Builder. I already started improving his portrait and worked on his first CG.

The image is small but that's because this is a huge work in progress. This CG will be fully available as soon as the start of next month if you're a patron of the highest tier.

For the next two weeks, I'm taking things a bit more slowly as I start planning the stories, missions, rewards and all that stuff for the next characters.
