(Game) Chapter 2 update 21

Hey there, time for the game update! I don't have as much pictures to show as last week but I do have details you might find interesting to share. First, here's the list's progress:

The most noticeable thing that got checked off the list is the completion of the monster's sidequests ;). Now, the only really major thing to do is the romance part of the game. This implies a  lot of things, most of which were already started, but the biggest challenge I have is actually making the base coding that every romance will use and here's what I had in mind:

- To unlock the romance, you need to talk to the person you wish to develop your relationship with in Palestra after you made enough progress in the main story. Aeyan, for example, can be unlocked once you complete the second chapter. Once the romance is unlocked, a quest will appear in your journal, showing your relationship progress with Aeyan and showing how many "points" you need to complete the current step. With each step taken, you will progress through the relationship, each character has four major steps and some of them contains "juicy" rewards ;).

To raise your relationship with any character, there are 3 things you can do:

- Interact with them in Palestra. (Not repeatable.)

- Have the character in your team when fighting. (Always available.)

- Give them gifts. (Repeatable.)

From now on, characters will have various events inside Palestra during the night and day, each event can be triggered to get some progress for the concerned character. However, relationship points will only be awarded once per event. Even if you do not have the relationship quest unlocked yet, relationship points will still be counted so once you unlock the romance, you should already have a bunch of points to progress faster through their romance story.

Do keep in mind though that the actual goal of this is the sex, so don't expect anything really deep for the romance stories xd.

Once you complete the romance, something will be unlocked, but you will know about this only in the 3rd chapter. You will also be able to have sex with the character you romanced during the night, if they're in their bedroom. (If you feel like watching the scene without the RNG, you can always use the CG Gallery). The last thing completing a romance gives, are new events between characters both characters involved must be romanced for the event to trigger.

I think that's about it, sorry if it sounds confusing, I should have something better to show next week as the coding isn't fully implemented yet, I couldn't get any picture of this system in action :(.

(Mugen) DDC and Link update

This week, we're having a simple Link and DDC update, I wanted to focus on DDC a bit more this week and so only these two were updated. Next week, I will be updating another character besides these two though.

DDC:

DDC got a few new moves and changes this week, let's go over them one at a time.

Captured Spanking and Captured Blowjob:

These two new moves are an addition to the current captured series (with the masturbation and rimjob move). To trigger these two moves, press "x" or "y" after capturing your opponent. The blowjob is a simple animation, unlike the spanking move where you have to repeatedly hit the "x" button to slap your opponent's ass. Pressing "x" slowly will make DDC slap only one cheek while pressing rapidly will make him alternate.

A few other changes were made to the captured series, the most noticeable being the removal of the captured undress part, DDC will now start with the spanking move. Also, the doggystyle animation had a bug fixed where DDC's dick would disappear halfway through the animation and, lastly, a bug crashing the game when pressing multiple buttons at once to change between the captured series' animations was fixed.

X-ray:

The X-ray move received an update, when hitting an opponent with the X-ray, DDC can now play a trick on his opponent and switch their underwear (this only affects the X-ray) or even make them go commando. (Provided the character has the necessary sprites)

Bound:


This is a new series of move, the goal of this collection of moves, is to have more compatible moves between Kuromaru and DDC, these moves are slightly altered for DDC, but they still remain closely similar to the original moves (credit goes to the original artists for Kuromaru's sprites).

To trigger the bound move, press D, DB, B, x. If an opponent is close to DDC, they will be bound by the magic circle appearing beneath DDC and a tentacle will come out to restrain them. Once restrained, DDC can decide between three moves, for now, but a total of six are planned. All of these moves are coded from scratch so if you encounter any issue, please let me know.

Tentacle Maiden:

Changes made to this move from the original:
- The tentacle maiden now lasts slightly longer
- The move no longer is a 1 hit K.O.


Breast Milking:

Changes made to this move from the original:
- This move no longer is a 1 hit K.O.
- Sounds are different
- No longer has the option to do the breast tickle.
- Some sprites were altered or remove (like Kuromaru's servants.)


Time Stopped Masturbation:

Changes made to this move from the original:
- This move was practically remade from scratch, the basic idea and the sprite used for the bottom character are the same as those used for Kuromaru.
- Only has 1 possible outcome and 1 way to masturbate the opponent now as opposed to 6 from the original.
- The move is now a straight animation, no longer has the button input commands of Kuromaru's version.
- No longer is a 1 hit K.O.

Missing:
-An animation for DDC at the end of the move
- A better animation for DDC while he masturbates the opponent


DDC's portrait:

I finally started working on DDC's portraits, but it's too early to show the work I did so far. Still letting you guy know that his portrait is finally in the works which means the ideous writing serving as his portrait will soon be gone >:)!

Other changes:
- The damage on the falling sword was reduced.
- You no longer need half of a power bar to trigger the sex pet egg once inside the opponent.
- Added a simple lie down and hit sprites.

Here I am with this week update and this is a pretty big update, lots of progress was made and I have a few things to share so let's get started!

New sprites are made for the monster boys!


This is something that wasn't quite included in the list above, but I made the first fight for one of the monster boys. Instead of having a normal battle like I last previewed, I instead made something similar to a duel in a first person view. In the picture below, we have Tael against Slime.

The way these "duels" work is as follow: The monster in front of you will do a random action, as seen below, Slime decides to "sink in the floor". Once the monster did his action, the player is given 4 choices:

- Physical Attack
- Magical Attack
- Guard
- Dodge

Depending on which one you choose, you will either take a hit, hit the opponent or negate damage. Guarding and dodging, you can also inflict damage depending on which move the ennemy is using. To know which choice you should take, you have to come prepared, thankfully its not all that complicated. The professor asking you to defeat these monsters gathered plenty of information about them. To know how to defeat them, read up his notes on the monster you are about to fight to know their habits, strengths and weaknesses.


The monster's life is indicated by how much clothes they lose. Once they're naked means one final hit will take them down. As for the player, you can always take a maximum of 4 hits. If you are low on life, a message will be displayed at the beginning of the turn, telling you that you can't take anymore hits. If a monster boy defeats one of your party member, a sweet "game over" is waiting for him :).

This wraps up the monster fights, you shouldn't be worried about these being too hard in this chapter as these are the first fights, if you read up on them before fighting them, everything will be fine.


Even though the professor asked you to defeat the monsters, Tael wants to bring them back to Palestra. For what reason? Only time will tell. In the meantime, you can visit them anytime in Palestra's basement where they will live. You can talk to them to know more about these guys or view their different states (those you can see during a fight as they lose health.)


A new character means new weapons! Hiro knows how to use a wide range of weapons, however the katanas and bows are his main weapons. He really is attached to the current bow he has so the only thing he will switch up is his katana.

Hiro also received another small update with new sprites: naked and fundoshi!

 Mind Throne visions: Here we have Angra facesitting on Shirou while Archer is doing him. (Archer is fine though since he's a lot easier to sprite xd)

DDC:

As you might have guessed, DDC's brand new move is the Personal Sex Pet! In order to make this move work, I altered one of his previous moves, the Piledriver Tentacle. From now on, DDC will still insert the egg with this piledriver move, but no tentacle will come out. Instead of that, the Piledriver Egg Insertion can now be followed by another move and here's how it works.

To start off, you must use the remade piledriver move: Piledriver Egg Insertion.


Once an egg has been implated, DDC can trigger it any time. To trigger the egg, press the c button while having at least half a power bar and let the magic work as the egg will hatch inside his opponent's ass, giving his opponent their own Personal Sex Pet!


After hatching, the pet will start attacking its new host and here two things can happen. If the host can resist the Pet, the pet will come out of his ass, requiring a new egg to be inserted in order to do the move again. If the host runs out of life while being fucked, the pet will stay inside the host's body.

Mugen Premade game updated:

The premade game was updated with all the updates above and the previous ones. Also, two new stages were added, 1 for spiderman and the other for Shirou! (I did not make these stages, I only added them to the game.)

I have a small update concerning the 20$ and 30$ patrons. Those pledging the mentioned amount can now request an animation of their choice as a voting option for the animation buyout. The animation can be for any character in the list of characters on the blog and it can any move you want from DDC and Kuromaru.

*** I am starting off the first buyout with 10 animations to test how things go. If there ever are more than 10 patrons pledging 20/30$ I will pick the animations at random from all the choices I am requested.

(Game)Chapter 2 Mini Update 19

Hey guys, for this week's update I don't have much to show as things are coming along really nicely and I'm starting to see the end of it! Next week, I will be posting the weekly schedule with what remains to be done and how much time it should take for the chapter's release.

The main quest is almost complete with only the final dialogue left to do! I also made the boss for the second chapter and he should be about the same difficulty as the first chapter's boss if you know what you're doing ;). Now that the second chapter's story is almost done, I'm starting to work on the sidequests, starting with the monster one!



Lastly, there was some pretty good progress on the "secret" update I previewed last week, hopefully, I can finish that update this week ;).
