Weekly update and new Palestra version

 I uploaded and released a new public version for Palestra!

This is a smaller scale update made from the content voted in the polls! You can download the update from the Palestra page.

Changelogs 1.75:

- Added a new outfit for Sora

- Added two new outfits for Natsu

- Added three new outfits for Reki

- Added a new random event between Ezreal and Sorey

- Fixed a bug that prevented OoT from being milked

For this week's upcoming work, I will be starting on the new update which will aim to revamp the conquest update! To kick things off, I will be working on new unit sprites which will be needed for the new missions and I will also finish the animations for Sol and Haiden so they can be released next week!

As for the other game, work on one of the main character's design will continue.

Dreadlord Ascension:

The new update is now available! We've done several bugfixes, added the new skill grids, the new refresh animations and new events between Alastor and Fenris!

This week, I also progressed on the animations between Haiden and Sol with all sprites now being done!

Weekly update

 

For the upcoming week, we will be working on bugfixing the new DA version as it will be coming out next week! We released the first test version on the discord server and a second one will be coming tonight with some more fixes.

Besides bugfixing, I plan to also work on the new animations for this month's poll. The two winners are Sol and Haiden!

As for the weekend, I should be working on the new game with some character design or some sprites that will be needed for the game.

Dreadlord Ascension:

This week was mostly focused on bugfixing and playtesting, but some extra time also allowed me to create the design for Zel's corruption appearance. Here's a little sneapeak for it!


His connection to the Ancestors doesn't run as deep as Aeren's or Leif's, as such he's part demon/part Devoid on a more equal split!

Weekly updates

 

For this week's tasks, we need to finish the testing for the new cutscenes and the skill grids. We plan on doing this for the first few days of the week, then we will start moving on to the work for the next update. Hopefully, I can also manage to sneak in some work on Zel's corruption form this week too!

As for the next weekend, I plan on doing work on a character for the new game.

Dreadlord Ascension:

The update is getting closer to completion! I need to add in the new CGs and a few missing icons, and a little more testing, then we will post the beta update on the Discord server! (You can expect to see it on the Discord during the week).

A lot of this week's work went into testing and polishing. We updated most of the descriptions for the skills, hoping to make them clearer.

Also, a very good news for a lot of you, the new update should be compatible with existing saves (build the infusion room and do the little tutorial then you should be good to go. One thing of note is that the adventure board will be gone until this step has been done)

We weren't too keen on doing two updates in a row resetting saves, so we did our best to make this one compatible. The next one definitely won't be possible unfortunately.

Weekly update

This week's schedule:

From now on, when making the weekly update, I'd like to share a rough plan of what I want to work during the week. This is because I stream some of the work I do, so if you're interested, you can hop on Picarto to get a glimpse of what's coming.

As a general rule, I work on Dreadlord Ascension during the week and the monster-catching game during the weekend. (do note, that especially for the monster-catching game, I still do a lot of it off stream for now due to how early it is).

For this week, I plan to do testing for the new update, put in the new cutscenes ingame, bugfix and work on Zel's corruption design. As for today, it may be more UI elements for the monster-catching game.

 

Dreadlord Ascension:

This week for Dreadlord Ascension I mostly finished up a lot of stuff we started in the past weeks like the refresh scenes, the writing for the new update and the animations I'm releasing this week.

Also, while it won't be part of the next update, I began working on something I've been excited to do which are the corruption designs for the heroes.

The first I made is Aeren, of course! I also began working on Zel's design! I feel like we may start pushing out the corruption stuff ingame after we're done with the last rework update which should be in june if everything goes well (the conquest update rework).

I won't leave you hanging too much until the time we release the corruption update though, here's a preview for Aeren's half Devoid/half Demon appearance!
