Weekly update

For the upcoming week, I will need to handle some of the date writing for the new dating locations and the dregan dates. Also, I have some icons to do but overall my time should be spent on the writing. This means there may not be too many streams this week but if you want a sneak peak to see what I'm working on, you can drop by on picarto!

As for this week, I did the odd asset needed for the conquest update here and there. The map is basically done and now threeclaws is coding in the brothels which will serve as hubs for the worlds where you can gather missions, adventures and progress on the reputation for a given world. Next week, I plan to show some pictures for that, I believe the feature will have progressed enough to show a preview!

As for the art I made this week, I completed the design for one of the next characters that will appear in the main story!

 


 While he may appear in the story, it may take some time before Cervius can truly get his hands on him!

Weekly update

To start off, I need to announce that the next DA update will be available in July. The conquest mode is taking quite a bit of time to make, especially with the amount of work on the coding side, but Threeclaws has been making some really nice work so far and we'll be able to start showing some screenshots fairly soon!

While he's busy with this part of the update, I've been working on new character and making various assets as he needs them. As such, I'm trying to get a little bit ahead on character design and have nearly completed the design for one important character that should appear a few updates after the conquest one. Since he's not fully done yet, here's a little sneak peak of him!


It's also possible that this week will be solely focused on more character design and I may do Asker's corruption form.

Weekly update

Sorry about the delay, got a little sidetracked during the whole weekend by a certain game called Nightreign x)

This week, I plan to make the sprite for a new minor character that will appear in the story and also import the assets for the new maps. On top of that, I would also like to do some sprites of food for the future update that will come for the dining room or I will be doing some character design for future characters depending on my mood.

Weekly update

This week I plan on continuing the monthly animations. During the past week, I ended up partly working on some other assets we needed for the update but since the animations are due for next week I will need to focus on those now.

Dreadlord Ascension:

While I worked on map assets this week, I also made progress on the first monthly animation (the longest one to make). Like I previously mentioned, since both Leif and Lenga were equal during most of the poll time, I decided to make an animation involving them + Shade and Cervius!

Weekly updates

 

A bit late on this since I've been so busy the last few days (and still am today x.x).

This week I plan on working on various thing for the new update now that most of the first draft for the writing is done.

Among the things I want to work on are some assets for a new rewind mechanic to help players making mistakes during combat and also start working on the needed assets for the second date location which is in Dregan.

Dreadlord Ascension:

Last week, as I said, I was mostly busy writing the cutscenes for the new update. While I was doing this, Threeclaws also created a new rewind mechanic which allows players to go back to the previous turn in battle. This can be used a certain amount of time every battle and should allow players to correct some mistakes.

Since this could potentially break some stuff in some stages, we want to start the testing on this as soon as possible. As such, we plan to start a beta later this week if possible only to test this feature.

Weekly updates

Work for the next update is now starting. As such, there's a lot to be done! For this week it's a little hard tor predict what I'll be working on because I feel like the writing needs to be done early so I might focus on that. Doing writing also means no stream, but tonight I'll be working on some stuff for the next game.

Weekly update and new Palestra version

 I uploaded and released a new public version for Palestra!

This is a smaller scale update made from the content voted in the polls! You can download the update from the Palestra page.

Changelogs 1.75:

- Added a new outfit for Sora

- Added two new outfits for Natsu

- Added three new outfits for Reki

- Added a new random event between Ezreal and Sorey

- Fixed a bug that prevented OoT from being milked

For this week's upcoming work, I will be starting on the new update which will aim to revamp the conquest update! To kick things off, I will be working on new unit sprites which will be needed for the new missions and I will also finish the animations for Sol and Haiden so they can be released next week!

As for the other game, work on one of the main character's design will continue.

The new update is now available! We've done several bugfixes, added the new skill grids, the new refresh animations and new events between Alastor and Fenris!

This week, I also progressed on the animations between Haiden and Sol with all sprites now being done!

Weekly update

 

For the upcoming week, we will be working on bugfixing the new DA version as it will be coming out next week! We released the first test version on the discord server and a second one will be coming tonight with some more fixes.

Besides bugfixing, I plan to also work on the new animations for this month's poll. The two winners are Sol and Haiden!

As for the weekend, I should be working on the new game with some character design or some sprites that will be needed for the game.

Dreadlord Ascension:

This week was mostly focused on bugfixing and playtesting, but some extra time also allowed me to create the design for Zel's corruption appearance. Here's a little sneapeak for it!


His connection to the Ancestors doesn't run as deep as Aeren's or Leif's, as such he's part demon/part Devoid on a more equal split!

Weekly updates

 

For this week's tasks, we need to finish the testing for the new cutscenes and the skill grids. We plan on doing this for the first few days of the week, then we will start moving on to the work for the next update. Hopefully, I can also manage to sneak in some work on Zel's corruption form this week too!

As for the next weekend, I plan on doing work on a character for the new game.

Dreadlord Ascension:

The update is getting closer to completion! I need to add in the new CGs and a few missing icons, and a little more testing, then we will post the beta update on the Discord server! (You can expect to see it on the Discord during the week).

A lot of this week's work went into testing and polishing. We updated most of the descriptions for the skills, hoping to make them clearer.

Also, a very good news for a lot of you, the new update should be compatible with existing saves (build the infusion room and do the little tutorial then you should be good to go. One thing of note is that the adventure board will be gone until this step has been done)

We weren't too keen on doing two updates in a row resetting saves, so we did our best to make this one compatible. The next one definitely won't be possible unfortunately.

Weekly update

This week's schedule:

From now on, when making the weekly update, I'd like to share a rough plan of what I want to work during the week. This is because I stream some of the work I do, so if you're interested, you can hop on Picarto to get a glimpse of what's coming.

As a general rule, I work on Dreadlord Ascension during the week and the monster-catching game during the weekend. (do note, that especially for the monster-catching game, I still do a lot of it off stream for now due to how early it is).

For this week, I plan to do testing for the new update, put in the new cutscenes ingame, bugfix and work on Zel's corruption design. As for today, it may be more UI elements for the monster-catching game.

 

Dreadlord Ascension:

This week for Dreadlord Ascension I mostly finished up a lot of stuff we started in the past weeks like the refresh scenes, the writing for the new update and the animations I'm releasing this week.

Also, while it won't be part of the next update, I began working on something I've been excited to do which are the corruption designs for the heroes.

The first I made is Aeren, of course! I also began working on Zel's design! I feel like we may start pushing out the corruption stuff ingame after we're done with the last rework update which should be in june if everything goes well (the conquest update rework).

I won't leave you hanging too much until the time we release the corruption update though, here's a preview for Aeren's half Devoid/half Demon appearance!

Weekly update

Quick update for this week as I focused on one part of DA and that's the animations for next week's package! I'll be putting the ingame this week so they'll be ready for next week. If everything goes well, we should also start the testing for the next update in a week or two for the skill grids update!

Weekly update

There isn't much to show this week in terms of visuals as I didn't work a lot on assets (at least not ones that can be shown yet). However, I did work on the writing for new events between Fenris and Alastor. These will be in 3 parts like the random event between Ayers and Seilon. This should be available in the next update.

Aside from that, I will be working this week on the winners of the animation poll: Haiden and Ayers. Each of them will receive a new animation for the Stage Performance!

Today's a big week for me as we release the last update for Palestra. Feels like I started this forever ago and I'm happy with the way it turned out! I thank you all for the support you've given as I worked on this game and I hope you will enjoy this last update!


Future project:

Since now I have one less game to worry about, I thought I'd work on a single game and focus on Dreadlord Ascension, but it seems like I just can't help myself, I love working on different stuff! Because of that, back in January, we started working on a new game.

It is still too early to really go into and talk about the actual game as we're still in the design phase and boy is there a lot of design to do lol. I assume it might take me the whole year to really get a headstart on the design phase.

What I CAN share, however is our vision for this new game.

We plan to make a monster taming game in 2D/Voxel with turned based combat (think Pokemon obviously). The game will largely be SFW BUT we also plan to make a "DLC" which enables the NSFW part of the game with the three romance-able guys.

Don't expect regular updates on this project for now, but I may share some teases and news throughout the year!

 

Dreadlord Ascension:

For Dreadlord Ascension this week I mainly worked on the new animations for the refresh skill and they are now working ingame. These new animations were remade to be used by any player character on any player character. This was made to prepare characters for the corruption forms.


The two Haidens are only an example but this is how the animation will look. For the start, I made 5 animations but I may add more in later updates! Since you may see them often, I also made the animations much shorter so they will not take up too much time out of the combat.

Palestra and Dreadlord Ascension weekly update

 

Palestra:

The new CG is done and pretty much everything is ready for the last update! All I need is to put it ingame and post the update next week!

 

Dreadlord Ascension:

We've started on the next update for Dreadlord Ascension in earnest now. While I work on the new style of ero animations for combat, Threeclaws has been hard at work on the new skill grids! Next week I will talk a bit more about the ero animations but this week, I have the skill grids to show!

From now on, using a new room in the castle, characters will be able to upgrade their skill grids.


This feature will replace how you currently learn new skills. Characters will have fewer options but the system should be easier to understand and more straightforward. A character will have a grid similar to the above and can spend the points they earn in combat to progress through the grid and gain new skills.

Some nodes in the grid may also be unlocked by having a good affinity with other characters. For example, Aeren can unlock a node in his grid by having a good affinity with Zel.

Skills will also still work with the A, B and C slot. So while you may be able to unlock all the nodes in the grid, you will need to make a choice for which skill you want in which slot. (those skills can be switched freely once unlocked)

This week, I completed the animations for Lenga and Alastor (with a Fenris appearance for Alastor's animation). The animations will be released next week but the cards for the stage performance will be included in the next update.

Palestra:

I started working on the next update this week! For this last Palestra update, you will need to have completed all character quests in order to see the scene. Also, Ragna won the poll which is pretty fitting for what I plan to do xP!

Dreadlord Ascension:
The new Dreadlord Ascension version is coming next week! This week, we started working on the new dating update and we've also begun work on the skill grids. I will have more to share on the skill grids a little later!

Palestra and Dreadlord Ascension weekly update

Palestra:

I've made progress on the update with all the assets being done. Up next I still need to do the writing and the CG!


Dreadlord Ascension:

We released a new version for Dreadlord Ascension. You can find all the information about this new version in the Dreadlord Ascension v.0.17.x post.

Since we split the dates away from this version, we will be releasing a second version in February. The next version will contain the basic dates with the initial locations unlocked.

Palestra and Dreadlord Ascension update post

Palestra:

Clef won the poll again and I started working on his assets to finish his quest. This will include the usual contest stuff, Clef's underwear, etc.


Dreadlord Ascension:

Since the dates won't be in this month's update after all, we decided to push forward a small rework to the hero overview and the gallery to go with the new minigame.

In the new overview, you should have everything about the heroes in one place. The progress on their affinity, their unit data, their sex training, their corruption and even their scenes as we merged the gallery with the hero overview!

Another small change we're making is the limit on activities you can do in a cycle. At the top of the screen, you will now see Cervius's energy. You can spend that energy by doing the various minigames and activities around the castle (for example, if you want to milk 5 times in a row, you now can, but you won't be able to do anything else after until you recover your energy).

The energy can be recovered once per cycle in the bed, otherwise you need to do a battle map before you can regen more!

Palestra and Dreadlord Ascension weekly update

Palestra:

The new Palestra update is available as well as the new poll!


Dreadlord:

We're still working on the dates and we're getting closer to release. It's still unclear if we're going to reach our goal in time, but there will be an update this month regardless. If that were to happen, I will be splitting the dates away from the new update and release the stage performance minigame, then next month, we can release the dates.

Speaking of the date rework, the first location available will be a beach resort in Radian. While not all activities there will be unlocked at first, you can still do a whole date there. On top of that, to mark the occasion, every character will be donning a swimsuit when you go there!

Palestra and Dreadlord Ascension weekly update

 A bit of a late update because yesterday was my birthday and a very busy day xP

Palestra:

The Palestra update will be next week and I'm nearly done with the CG!

 

Dreadlord Ascension:

I pushed out a new build to fix a bug with Ayers's affinity. I also pushed out the new package with the two new animations!

Since we're very busy with the dates, I won't have time to make two new animations this month. However, I will instead have some other assets that will be used in the new update. (more on that next week :P)
