The new version of Dreadlord Ascension remakes the entire early game and changes the whole pacing of the game. This means this version requires a fresh save, but we're now committing to this new version as we're really happy with how it's working even if it needs more polish to get to the point we want.

Known bugs:
- Soren or other characters sometimes not refreshing properly. Like after crafting gifts or after you give them their prismind to train them (reloading the game should fix the issue)
- In Asker's hero challenge, it's not possible to go through the middle door (you can use the corridors instead)
V0.7.2 Changelogs:
- Nerfed Enravel's resistance to make him more vulnerable to magic damage
- Added the scenes to the scrying pool (character with scenes between each other will need to get the necessary affinity to trigger the scene)
- A bug with Cervius unable to take action should be fixed
- Fixed a bug where Cervius can no longer use refresh if his support skill was changed
- The "Milking" option does not work when talking to characters in the milking room. This is intentional and is there for the future milking minigame
Notable additions:
- Remade the affinity story for Leif and Asker
- Added the first version of the adventure board to send heroes on adventures
- Added the first version of the conquest map
- Added the sex training minigame for all the characters
- Added the defeated scenes for the Radian characters
- Added the hero challenges for Radian

Palestra:
For Palestra, since Red's Choice won, I decided to go for a little bit of everything for everyone in the poll. Clef's quest will have a new CG involving Tatsumi and all other characters in the poll will receive a new garment to wear.
Dreadlord Ascension:
The new update for Dreadlord Ascension is ready! Most of the week was dedicated to preparing the new update, but I've also been making the animations for next week's sprite package. Also, I a made some major changes to one of Dregan character, Ayers.
Since I really like how he's looking now, he may keep the same appearance from now on minus some changes I might do his lantern. I hope you like the new changes I've made!
The next update for Dreadlord Ascension should be in october, and if everything goes well, Haiden will become a new recruitable character. He should also have his affinity and sex training scenes. (do keep in mind, those will take place after the Dregan story so it might feel a little odd at first like it was for Radian.)
Hey red, when u said “fresh save” u mean we must play from the begining again or we can use last save we used from previous version?

ReplyDeleteFor some characters, this will allow some scenes to be played in the castle (or you can unlock them via the scrying pool if you have the affinity between the characters)

ReplyDeleteHero challenges are adventures you can start using the board behind the mission table. Once the adventure is complete, it will unlock a mission(s) and completing that will allow you to summon a new character.
DeleteQuestion Red, are you going to include that demon in charge of the arena later as one of the official characters for the story, like Cervius and the other heroes, I mean sex scenes and story and affinities, I actually like him. He's primarily a wrath demon right, still its a hot take having a character demon on Cervius team that doesnt think of sex first yet has plenty as much as the rest, and a little bit of diversity of having a character thats humanoid in shape but totally different from human looking. Just asking, good job at the progress you've made on your game by the way, loved seeing Clef in on Palestra :)

DeleteAs for Zarox, it could always be possible, but I don't know if I would include him as a full party member. He could still definitely appear in scenes though (definitely going to happen because I find his design pretty nice too), but if I were to make him a fully fledged unit, he would also need the sex training and the affinities like all the other characters (Alastor and Fenris don't have them yet as they're part of the main story, but they will get more on that end later on)
Still, any character introduced as a minor character could be possible to make into a full unit later on if I feel like it (Befall, Kostyx, Zarox, even the imp shopkeeper lol).
Atm though, I already have a ton of characters on the waiting list to be added xD
