Patreon account is back up

Just letting you guys know that my page is back up and to ensure that things like these won't happen again, I'll change the way I post the previews a bit. From now on, I'll simply make one post on the blog and direct the patrons here with a link. That way, there won't be any pictures on my patron which should make things easier for me. Both posts on my blog and patreon were pretty always a copy/paste either way. Otherwise, nothing changes and the rewards should still be delivered as they should be next weekend ;).

Oh and as a side note, some people wanted to update their pledges but couldn't do so because the page was down. Good news for you guys, if you act quickly you can still update it as they payment will be processed during the week.

  1. Glad your Patreon is back up and running. Also putting the previews on the blog only is fine for me since I have the habit of going to your blog before going to your Patreon (I actually keep forgetting to go to your Patreon even with Email notifications).

    1. Either way, both posts were the same most of the time so it probably won't change anything. People that were used to look at the update through patreon will now receive a link to the update instead which practically changes nothing and also makes the emails more SFW I guess xD.

  2. It seems I was too late to give payment for the month. I know that means I won't get rewards for this month but I was wondering if their is anywhere else we could support you like a Ko-Fi?

    2. I said that because I already got charged by Patreon. I am not sure what else I could do? All my charges happen on the second which was sadly right before you got your page back. I don't think I can force it to take an additional payment?

    3. Wait you were already charged for this month? I think I'll have to contact support then, also I just noticed that the charge up front option is now back. I probably will enable this option, that way everyone will be able to update their accounts if they want to increase their pledges at any time of the month and receive the benefits ;).

    5. Something definitely did: I was still registered as a 5$ tier supporter, yet all posts were greyed out with "become a patron to see this post" messages. Updated my pledge to 10$ tier, which unlocked the posts once more, but… (worry)

    6. I had the same happen till I switched to 20$ tier. I was not charged.

  3. Still waiting for support reply, since yesterday was july 4th they probably weren't working...

    Also there was a sitewide issue on patreon while I suspended so this might have messed up things a bit...

    1. I'm tempted to with over to paid post or upfront payment to see if it will charge then go back to monthly payment for next month :x. Before it comes to this, I will wait until tomorrow so I get my reply.

    2. That might not work as you think it might: your current payment plan charges for the previous (completed) month, i.e. the charge supposed to go through these past days would have been for June. Payment upfront has one pay for the current month, in our case, July.
      Switching back, from my understanding, would mean that next payment period would charge for July as well… in which case it might not go through. =X
      (I could be completely mistaken, mind ^^;)

    3. I think you're right about the upfront payment (This is still an option I want to enable later for new patrons though). However, I think I could use the paid post option and make a single paid post to process the payments. However, I'm still waiting for Patreon's support reply because I wouldn't want patrons to be charged twice, that would be the worst imo.

    4. Got an answer from Patreon, they said to wait 2 more working days which I assume would be until monday. If by then it still isn't processing payments, I think they will take the proper actions. In the meantime, if people want to receive their rewards, they need to old their pledge until I send them out, otherwise I won't know who should receive which reward.

    Unfortunately it was for the amount pre-account review. ^^;

    1. Don't worry, now that all the problems are gone, I'm updating my account tomorrow with the option of upfront payment. That way, when someone subscribes or update their pledge, they get access to the rewards right away!
