Palestra: Lan design / Dreadlord Ascension: Sounds

Palestra:

While Lan will not appear in the next update, I started working on his design. I want to make an aged up version of Lan and while this version might not be final (maybe I'll make some improvements), I'm pretty happy with how the initial version looks.


Dreadlord Ascension:

While I'm now looking to add some sounds and music to the game, the first prototype of the game will not have any sounds or music, those will be added a little later (most likely in one or two versions after the initial one).

Palestra: Updated Souma portraits / Cervius Game: Zel portraits

 Palestra:

In the next update, Souma's portraits will be updated! His portraits needed to be improved as they were starting to get a little old :P


 

Cervius Game:

Name:

I've been thinking about this for some time, and from now on, I will be calling this game Dreadlord Ascension. This title fits with what I plan to do with the story later on once the game has a solid base.


New character:

Another character to appear in the game will be called Zel and appears in the same world as Soren. This character may not be available in the first version of the game, but I still need to know about a few characters ahead so I can plan the story better. By looking at him, I think you can easily guess which characters were mixed this time around :P.

Palestra: Next update / Cervius Game: Cervius Portrait

 Palestra:

 The next updates will now be in smaller scale as like I've explained two months ago on patreon, I need to dedicate much more time to the Cervius game and so I need reduce the scope of Palestra updates at least for now. As part of the next update, Megaman will be receiving a new update to his portraits.


Cervius Game:

One thing I didn't show and obviously be in the game is Cervius, this game's main character. As such, he also gets to have his own portraits :P.

Palestra: Update next week / Cervius Game: Sprite animation preview and Fenris's new appearance

 Palestra:

 The new update featuring Kirito will be released next week, look forward to it! :D

 

Cervius Game:

 This week, I released two new animations on patreon, but to give you guys a little preview of how they look, I decided to share the one I made last month for free ;)

This one is a simple loop, but as you can see, the animations are pretty much the same as they were in mugen. However, animating in a program like Godot will allow me to involve Cervius more directly with characters unlike in mugen where it sometimes was impossible to do certain moves because of that.

If you've played mugen, you've probably seen this guy. He's Cervius' most loyal friend and servant, Fenris. In this game, I gave him a completely new appearance, but I plan to give him his Feral form like in mugen later on.


Concerning the game itself, I made a new post on patreon this week to give much more detail about how it will work. I plan on putting this post up on the blog most likely next week to also give you guys an idea of what you can expect from it :).
