Weekly update

Happy new year everyone! The holidays are almost over, today is the last day of celebration and it's for my birthday! After that, I can go back and focus more on work! We still managed to get some work done though, the DA update is progressing well, the stages are done and only some assets are missing before we can really start testing the whole thing! Nagi's portraits were also completed and a new poll is up to pick the next character for whom I will make the portraits.

If everything goes well, this week we can get started on the testing and I've got one more scene I decided to add to the update. Unless something very unexpected happens, the update is definitely coming out this month and after that, we can start work on another big update which will introduce from start to finish the next world for DA!


Kogetsu is the name of the next world for DA and it will be in a modern setting, but I think many of you already guessed that based on what I've shown so far! Unlike previous world, there will be no combat maps for this world and it will be sorely story based which is why we want to get it out in one go.

After the world story update is done, I will be making polls for each update to decide which character will be focused on to get their character specific content (training, affinity, animations, and all that). This should take up the bulk of the updates for this year as I can see each character easily taking two months of work to make, so it's gonna be a busy time for me haha!

Weekly update

 

First of all, merry christmas (even if late xP) and happy new year (even if early)! While this week was pretty busy, there's still more to come in the next week so work will be a little slower than usual. Still! This week I managed to mostly finish the portraits for Nagi with only the expressions being left.



As for this week, I plan to finish Nagi's portraits, write a new random event for the next update as well as help out in whatever way I can to wrap up the stages for the new updates!

I may not live as often this week, but if I do, feel free to drop by on my picarto!

Weekly update



To start things off, we've made some good progress on the next Dreadlord Ascension update. The new cutscenes are all in and the stages are more than halfway done. We've also been making progress on using the new bust system for all the busts in the game (but normally, this is something you guys shouldn't notice unless we have a bug).

The latest poll concluded and it was very close this time around with all characters ending up neck and neck, but with one vote ahead of the others, Nagi is the one I will be working on to finish his portraits!



For those who will get the package, you can expect the servant, milking, underwear, etc. outfits for him to be included.

Weekly update


This week was a fairly straightforward for work. What I worked on are the new cutscenes and I nearly got them all down! Only the new conquest scenes remain which means it'll be done in the new few days. Aside from that I also implemented the new assets that were made over the past month and now everything's coming together. We also started making the new stages and we should be able to finish them in the upcoming weeks.

For this week, I will be working on a few things here and there like sprite animations and combat effects to help out with the stages. Weekly update

The new poll as well as the December animations are now available! This week I finished the animations, made new 3D assets for the map and we started on the maps for the next update. As for what I will be doing this week, the plan is to add some sprite animations to some of the new units that appear in the next update and also start adding in the cutscenes.

Today we're also pushing some new bugfixes for the previous version of DA which mainly pertain to the brothel and renown shop if you have any issues with that.

Weekly update

 

Hey! I'm now getting better and also getting back to work. This week I finished up the text for the new update and added the code to it. I also made some 3D assets and most importantly, I finished the animations which I'll be releasing next week.


As for this upcoming week, I'm not too sure what I'll be working on yet since it's going to be a pretty busy week outside of work. Maybe I'll make progress on the other game with some 3D or stuff like that. Either way, if you want to drop by and see what I'm playing or working on, feel free to drop by on picarto!

Weekly update

 

Hey! Sorry about the delayed update. This time the update isn't so much about what I've done the past week because while I did some work on some text and started on the animations, I've also been sick for quite a few days. I'm starting to feel a little better...

On top of being sick, December is also usually a fairly busy month (as is the case for a lot of people I assume) and since the next DA update is an important story update for the main story, we don't want to rush it too much. As such, we decided that to be on the safe side, the update would be in January instead of December.

This will also give me more time to prepare for the update that comes after this one because that one is also a pretty big update due to how we're planning to do it.

For now, I'm going to focus on making the monthly animations so I can have them ready in time for their release. After that, I will be going back to progress on the new DA update.

I don't usually show those, but since I wasn't able to make much progress on my end for a few days, here's a preview of one of the CGs in the new update.
