I uploaded the Dreadlord Ascension page with a new demo! From now on, when clicking on the "Dreadlord Ascension" button at the top, you will be taken to the itch.io page. That way, I can keep all the demo stuff in one place. The new demo adds some new content (furnishing for Cervius's bedroom mainly) but most important, it adds the Android version!
The Android version isn't perfect by any means. It's our first time making the android version of a game, but it should be fully playable! Do keep in mind the minimum requirement if you download the Android version to make sure it runs smoothly!
Hey, first all I wanted to say that I really like your games, both the gameplay and the scenes are really nice. It's very hard to find good games in this genre.
ReplyDeleteI recently downloaded the android version of dreadlord ascention, it has a few bugs that make the game freeze and a few that make it crash (finishing the training of any hero). but other than that I'm really enjoying my time with it.
I wanted to ask though, If it will be possible to maybe somhow improve the window displaying the objectives so that it also shows what objectives are needed to progress the main story. I'm currently stuck, and can't figure out how to progress. I'm currently at Dregan, I recently freed Ayers' brainwashed men, and I did Haiden's research missions, but I can't figure how to progress the story to rescue Sol.

Mmmh we can't seem to replicate the bug you reported, would you be able to tell us your Android version and how much RAM you have?
DeleteAlso, by "training", did you mean the training minigame, the character sex training or the animated scene at the end of their affinity + sex training?

DeleteI meant the animated scene after all the minigames when the hero is maxed in affinity and training.
Specifically it crashes in the following missions:
1. "Faith in the Master" for Zel
2. "Winding off" for Asker
3. "Leif's Resolve" for Leif
4. "Something Special" for Aeren
5. "Old research" for Haiden
6. "Golden Delivery" for Seilon
I think it will have the same problem with Ayers, but even though both my affinity with him (and his affinity with Seilon) and his training are maxed, I can't see his mission in the mission map.
I don't really understand a lot about these kinds of things, but when I was checking the device RAM I saw that while the game is active it takes up around 1.1GB of RAM and with it open it shows that the available RAM is less than 3GB. There was an option to Increase the virtual memory of the device (settings -> memory -> RAM Plus). I tried it and chose the 8GB option, but it didn't help (I don't know if it should've helped, but I thought it was worth a shot).

Red what you do think of legendary corrin in FEH? Can you make legendary outfit on portrait for him in pal?

DeleteI dont know if this is a bug but in Dreadlord Ascension android, if you loaded a save the sex level of characters become stuck at level 5 with 0/0 exp. I speedran the game and noticed that sex level could reach lvl 50+ but if you load a save, it turns back to level 5. Sex Training CG scenes can still be activated though.
ReplyDeleteYeah, the maximum sex level is actually 5. Being able to go higher than that is a bug and will be fixed.
DeleteHey Red! I'm struggling with all the moves of my harem which require MC's skills. I don't get it, how to use those skills? I have tried all the MC's skills on them but it didn't work
ReplyDeleteUse the right MC skill on them, then on the next turn you can use those other members's skills.
